Librarians

What a great bunch of school librarians we have this year.  They help at morning tea and lunch breaks and are able to  issue and return your books or help you to find something on the shelve.  They also help with shelving and tidying our library.

Congratulations to the following children for gaining there Bronze Award for there work in the library : Daniel Anngow, Lucy Martin, Sam Davis, Lisa Kelly, Zoleika Judd, Pari Teli, Leah Johnson, Zoe Walker, Kieran Bumbra, Cameron Allan and Rohan Soper.

Book Illustrators

With ART WEEK just around the corner, it seemed a great time to share a video of author Chris Riddell drawing Ishmael the mouse from the book Goth Girl. Illustrators bring books to life and help us see what our book character looks like or sees.  Look out for more of Chris Ridell's books in our library.

We Love Library Challenges!

In our last library challenge for 2014 classes made some new art for the library.  Check out some of these colourful designs.  Thanks to all the classes who entered and help make the library space welcoming.

Scholastic Book Fair

Just a few titles that we have selected for the library from our book fair.

Many thanks to all the parents who made purchases at our recent book fair.  The library has nearly $600 to spend on new books thanks to your support.
